Our Story

Demi Rawling and Pierre-Louis Berrier met at a fragrance exhibition in Cannes, France, on October 1, 2019. Both had been passionate about fragrance from a young age and attended the exhibition for the same reason: to build connections as they began their journey in the perfume industry.

At the time, Demi was a 21-year-old fragrance reviewer on YouTube, eager to discover new brands and collaboration opportunities. Pierre-Louis, then 24, had just completed his master's degree and attended the exhibition with his father, who had worked in the fragrance industry for over 30 years, hoping to find a full time job in the field.

What they found was far more valuable than either had expected — they found each other.

Demi was living in Perth, Australia, while Pierre-Louis was based in Paris, France. Despite the distance, they both felt they had found their soulmate and did everything they could to see each other again. They first met in Bali and Sydney before eventually deciding to move to Dubai together, halfway between their two home countries.

At the time, Demi had been developing the idea for a mobile application dedicated to the world of fragrance. After sharing the concept with Pierre-Louis, they decided to build it together, and that is how Sniff was born. Following more than two years of development, they launched the app in January 2023. It quickly grew into one of the world's largest online fragrance communities, with over 120,000 users.

Alongside Sniff, Demi continued creating fragrance content, sharing her passion for luxury fragrances with a community of more than 600,000 followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. In 2021, she was the first fragrance content creator to collaborate with an established fragrance brand to launch her own scent, Minuit et Demi, which quickly became one of the brand’s best sellers.

Over the years, Demi & Pierre-Louis got the chance to travel extensively to fragrance exhibitions and events across the UAE, Oman, China, Saudi Arabia, Italy, France, and Mexico. Through Sniff and Demi's channels, they collaborated with over 100 fragrance brands, agencies, and distributors, gaining invaluable experience despite their young age.

On July 26, 2025, Pierre-Louis proposed to Demi on the Greek island of Paros. As they began planning their wedding, one question naturally came to mind: what fragrance should they wear on the most memorable day of their lives?

Rather than wearing someone else's creation or collaborating with an existing brand, they decided to create their own. After all, they had spent years building the knowledge, relationships, and experience needed to bring such a project to life.

After the summer of 2025, they began working on the brand with a strict deadline: the fragrances, bottles, and packaging had to be ready for their wedding in July 2026. First, they quickly came up with the name: Mr & Mrs B. — B for Berrier, Pierre-Louis’s family name, which they would soon share for the rest of their lives.

Throughout the process, every detail was carefully considered. The bottles and caps were custom-made, despite the significant challenge of creating entirely bespoke packaging in less than a year. They take great pride in having designed every aspect themselves, pouring their vision into every detail to create something truly meaningful that reflects their vision: elegant, luxurious, and timeless.

The fragrances themselves are filled with personal meaning. One of their earliest ideas was to work with the perfumers behind the fragrances that marked the beginning of their story. Demi partnered with Pascal Gaurin of IFF, while Pierre-Louis worked with Hamid Merati-Kashani of DSM-Firmenich. Together, they spent months refining the compositions until the perfect fragrances were born.

To honor their respective origins, each fragrance also contains two symbolic ingredients: sandalwood, representing Demi's homeland Australia, and immortelle, paying tribute to Pierre-Louis’s roots and the island where they celebrated their wedding, Corsica, France.

They also exchanged letters reflecting on the beginning of their love story. Pierre-Louis’s letter, The Night We Met, is inside Mrs B.'s box, while Demi's letter, Falling in Love, is inside Mr B.'s. Each box also contains a 10ml bottle of the other’s fragrance— a small but meaningful symbol that, just like them, the two creations should never be separated.

On July 14, 2026, they wore their fragrances on their wedding day and shared them with their guests as their wedding gift.

Mr B. and Mrs B. are more than fragrances. They are memories bottled forever — a piece of their love story, created to be shared with others.
